Hon. Thomas Tayebwa is running for the Office of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda. He currently represents Ruhinda County North in the 10th Parliament on the NRM ticket. In January, 2021, he was reelected resoundingly back to Parliament for a second term. Hon. Tayebwa is running on the ticket of ensuring economic independence of the Members of Parliament and bringing the Office of Speaker of Parliament closer to the Members of Parliament.
